Chaotic Children
A story of two broken people.
Her smile fades,
as she plays in darkness.
I wish I brought shades
to hide your harshness.
We are not good together.
I see the twinkle in our eyes,
the fire and pain in our hearts.
You were my skies;
Stormy, clear, and wonderous start.
We swirl in chaos
Trying to heal each other,
lying in the marshes of moss.
Are we a lesson?
Were we meant to be companions
or just an expression.
Confusion lies in wait
while signs of the wild say it all.
Emotions fly,
directionless and random.
we collide instead
of mending together.
In the end we kill each other
as chaotic children.

Well written. The emotions mix up quite good
